How do lesson plans help children and teachers?

Časoris news packages include current news from Časoris and lesson plans prepared experienced elementary school teachers from all over Slovenia.

They serve as a didactic tool that helps teachers make their lessons more current, offering students relevant news from Slovenia and the world, encouraging them to develop critical thinking skills, use reliable sources, and seek credible information in an unforced manner.

With media outlets dedicated to children, such as Časoris, Infodrom, and Pil, you can have a high degree of trust and believe that what they have published actually happened.

Časoris also provides them with a daily dose of vegetables on internet that they need to consume if they wish to grow into informed, responsible, and active citizens.

News packages include articles from Časoris, allowing children to be informed about daily news that either interests them or is essential for their general knowledge to avoid being uninformed.

With the guidance of teachers and the use of news packages, students learn to identify credible news and other relevant information while understanding the role that media plays in democracy. In doing so, they become media-literate citizens who can critically assess the information that reaches them.

So, when students ask, “How will this benefit us?” you can respond:

It will benefit you:

  • Ensuring you don’t appear uninformed when discussing topics both at home and in school or with friends.
  • Reducing the effort required for fact-checking, as you’ll receive information from a trusted source.
  • Empowering you to create high-quality and credible content on topics that matter to you.
