Media Masters: masters of the media game

| 23. 01. 2025 | Projects

The Media Masters project enhances media literacy and promotes active citizenship in nine EU countries. The project targets primary and secondary school students, university students, teachers, and journalists.

The central part of the project, implemented under the CERV programme, is the development of innovative tools for better understanding the need for trustworthy information and to develop skills to identifying disinformation: a board game, available in the languages of the partner organizations and in English, and a mobile application called Media Masters. Both tools simulate real-life scenarios.

Both tools are designed to remain in use after the project’s conclusion, allowing for their long-term integration into education.

Partners will test the game and app during workshops and trainings.

At Časoris, we will organize four events, including three workshops in primary and secondary schools, where pupils will test the game.

At the project level, 43 events are planned, including workshops, conferences, and a final meeting in Brussels. These events will engage over 33,000 participants.

The project aims to contribute to a lasting transformation of educational programs in the field of media literacy.

In this context, Časoris is also contributing to the development of content for the board game and the app, significantly supporting the achievement of the project’s key goals – empowering young people to critically and knowledgeably engage with the media space and democratic processes.

The project will culminate in a final event in Brussels in 2026.

Media Masters represents a step forward toward a more informed and active society capable of effectively addressing the challenges of the digital world.

The project started in June 1, 2024 and will end on May 31, 2026.
